As part of our education and awareness efforts, we will prayerfully stand on Loop 281, in front of the Longview Mall, holding signs with messages regarding the harm that abortion does to all, as well as messages of hope and the love of Jesus Christ.
In June of 2019, Waskom, Texas made a bold move to outlaw abortion in their city, becoming the first Sanctuary City For the Unborn by ordinance in America. Since we spearheaded the initiative in Waskom many other cities have reached out to us wanting to follow in the footsteps of Waskom by outlawing abortion in their own city and declare themselves a Sanctuary City for the Unborn. Live Action approached people on the street and asked them if they were pro-choice. To those that said yes, even up to the point of birth, they showed Dr. Levatino’s video of the procedure. After watching the video, the people who claimed to be pro-choice changed their minds on the spot. They admitted they were unaware of how developed babies are at this point in pregnancy and described the video as “inhumane.”
